Self Portrait

This was done quickly. I had another painting completely done but there was a twitch in my brain about it. And then, so, I pulled it out, apologized to it for not making the cut, and I painted this large white figure over. It came so easily and I just followed it. I use pencil over the oil quite a bit , in the arms and hands, at the bottom of the skirt. The aura objects across the shoulders are bits of old canvas from long ago paintings, saved over the years for this self. I recognized it immediately.
